I get to photograph a lot of places that have been freshly renovated before going on the market and usually the vendor sticks with a rather white colour palate.

It's easy to understand why as it gives prospective buyers the opportunity to stamp their own style on it if they end up purchasing the place.

So it was quite a treat to walk into this freshly renovated apartment in the historic Guardian building on Queen St in the CDB and see lots of yellow splashed around, there's nothing like a bit of colour to add some contrast to photos. I photographed this place a few weeks ago pre renovation and it has really been transformed.
